It's more than just grilled gyutan (ox tongue) at the recently-opened Gyutan-tan along Tras Street. At this specialty restaurant, gyutan takes center stage and is prepared and cooked in a variety of ways — from the Cold Roasted Gyutan Carpaccio Salad and Homemade Gyutan Gyoza to Gyutan Demi-Glace Stew and Gyutan Ramen. However, the best option for those not too familiar with ox tongue is the Sumiyaki Gyutan Combo Set, which is comprised of thin and thick cuts of charcoal-grilled gyutan, served with soup, rice, and yamaimo. This set lets you appreciate gyutan's flavor and texture, with an added option of dipping it in a variety of sauces like lemon pepper, negi shio, ponzu oroshi, and more.

Located on the rooftop of The Outpost Hotel in Sentosa, Sol & Ora allows for a mediterranean escapade, even if it's just for a few hours. The restaurant's seaside location complements the food and drinks menu, mainly comprised of flavors inspired by the 'Latin-Mediterranean' countries of Italy, France, Spain, and Greece. Highlights include the Petite Meze platter comprised of zesty, salty, and briney bites and dips, La Bomba (a deep fried breaded sphere of minced chicken and potato, seasoned with Baharat), Sardinian Porcetto with crackling skin and tender meat, and Imam Bayildi — a baked eggplant dish with tomato sauce, spices, and feta cheese.
