For the coming Christmas catch ups lined up in your calendar, make a beeline for Bee's Knees, which is located at the ground floor of The Garage at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. A new selection of hearty and satisfying cafe-style food have been added to the refreshed menu, alongside thirst-quenching cocktails that will help cool you down after a leisurely stroll.

Favorites include the Spicy Duck Loaded Fries, where a sharing platter is filled to the brim with thick-cut fries and smoked duck chunks, finished off with luscious mayonnaise, Sriracha cream, and mozzarella cheese. We'll definitely come back for the Fiery Shrimp Pizza too, which is a new addition to the Bee's Knees' popular New York-style pizzas. For those who enjoy spice and umami flavors, this pizza hits all the right notes with squid ink garlic aioli, tiger prawns, and finished with a zesty chilli dressing.

Today, LeVel33 proudly works with local seafood suppliers, resulting in dishes like the rich Ah Hua Kelong Seafood Bouillabaisse and the Local Barramundi from Kuhlbarra that is amped up with spicy and aromatic Singapore-centric flavors. Those who prefer a more protein-rich and meat-centric diet will appreciate the addition of the Wagyu Tri-Tip steak, as well as Lamb Rump skewers. Le Vin, Levain (LVLV) is good for your gut — literally. With a menu that's focused on sourdough-style breads and natural wines, native yeasts and slow fermentation techniques are brought to the fore, which in turn enhances one's gut microbiome because of the beneficial bacteria and compounds.

LVLV is a sundown takeover concept that happens from Wednesday to Sunday at the Tiong Bahru Bakery Eng Hoon flagship from 6-9pm. In addition to natural wines available by the bottle or glass, indulge in a sourdough bread basket that pairs well with the house-cured charcuterie platter and Singaporean Stracciatella made from fresh cow's milk sourced from Viknesh Dairy Farm. Also available are a selection of sourdough pizzas (the Lardo and Confit Eggplant shouldn't be missed), Blue Prawns Roll that features a sourdough brioche, and Sourdough Waffles.
