Expect an abundance of Lunar New Year delights from Goodwood Park Hotel, available from 4 January to 5 February 2023. Festive creations to keep an eye out for include the Bountiful Bunnies ‘Nian Gao’ with Black Sesame Paste, which commemorates the zodiac of the year. Also available are the ‘Mao Shan Wang’ Durian Kueh Lapis and the showstopping Lucky Fortune Orange cake brimming with golden coins and ingots for good fortune and abundance in the new year.

Beyond the sweet treats, Min Jiang and Min Jiang at Dempsey will be offering an array of savory dishes, which include Min Jiang’s Braised Boneless Pork Knuckle with Homemade Pork & Prawn Balls and Sea Treasures in a Pot and Min Jiang Dempsey’s Double-boiled Soup with Chicken Mid-Wings stuffed with Minced Prawns & Pork and Abalones in Claypot.

Toss to good fortune with two ‘Lo Hei’ options, such as the Five Blessings ‘Lo Hei’ at Min Jiang (with lobster, 6-head abalone, raw salmon, Hokkaido scallops, and crispy salted egg yolk fish skin) and Auspicious Abundance ‘Lo Hei’ at Min Jiang at Dempsey (with raw salmon belly and salmon slices, osmanthus jelly, abalone topped with tobiko, deep fried yam, and sweet potato strips).

Indulge in festive feasting at Shangri-la Singapore and its four dining destinations – One-Michelin starred Shang Palace, The Line, The Lobby Lounge, and The Rose Veranda – for the Lunar New Year. In addition, lavish takeaway gourmet options are also available to make entertaining at home an equally indulgent and luxurious affair.

At Shang Palace, four eight-course set menus – Happiness, Prosperity, Harmonious, and Opulence – will be available from 9 January to 5 February 2023, ranging from $188++ to $338++ per person. The Joyous vegetarian set menu is also available for $118++ per person. From 21 to 24 January 2023, The Line will be featuring hearty Spring Reunion-themed buffets, with highlights like Roasted Suckling Pig, Longevity Ee-Fu Noodles with Crab Meat, Steamed Seabass with Sichuan Spices, and Eight Treasure Duck. Meanwhile, Peranakan Delights and Afternoon Tea will be served at The Lobby Lounge, while The Rose Veranda will feature the Springtime Afternoon Tea.

What’s more, Shangri-La’s selection of Chinese New Year Gourmet Delicacies includes four Yu Sheng Varieties: South African Abalone, Hokkaido Scallop, and Scottish Smoked Salmon; Lobster and Scottish Smoked Salmon; Norwegian Smoked Salmon; and Golden Crispy Fish Skin. For a true taste of indulgence, add the Abundance Pen Cai to your reunion table, comprised of 18 luxurious ingredients including abalone, fish maw, whole dace fish, sea cucumber, pork knuckle, and sweet and sour pan-fried prawn to name a few.
