Simplicity Stands Out with the AXOR One Collection

For the modern homeowner who sees the importance in both aesthetics and function, the design element goes beyond spaces like the living room and the bedroom, making its way to more intimate corners of the home, such as the bathroom.

It is in this place where we embrace our true selves and experience moments of luxurious comfort; where a few precious minutes become unforgettable thanks to the AXOR One collection and its inimitable product range – faucets, wall-mounted faucets, floor-standing bathtub filler with hand-held shower, and the AXOR One thermostatic module for bath or shower.

To complement this range, AXOR recently unveiled complementary products to the AXOR One collection, specifically for the washbasin, bathtub, and shower. What's more, the timeless and elegant products are available in Chrome, Matt Black, and a variety of exclusive AXOR FinishPlus surfaces.

Spearheading the new accessories program are designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby – collectively known as Barber Osgerby – who said, “How do you challenge the archetype? Through the pursuit of art and science, invention and interaction. AXOR One provokes the memory of water, but heralds a new way of controlling it that is much more precise and incredibly refined. The AXOR One products are unique, made possible through design thinking, and realized by the incredible engineering of AXOR.”

Here, design is complemented by clarity, function, and superior control. Take the faucet, for example, which is powered by advanced Select technology. When pressed down on its all-in-one controller, the user can start or stop the water. When turned clockwise, it increases the temperature. These effortless, intuitive, and ultra-precise actions celebrate inventive design thinking, which characterizes the entire collection.

Under the collection, the wash basin, bathtub, and shower are unified by a holistic design language that boast sleek silhouettes, flat surfaces, soft corners, and balanced proportions. On closer inspection, note that the faucets feature a gentle taper to their curved spouts, which is a subtle detail that signals exceptional quality of design and manufacturing.

By utilizing Select technology, the mechanical faucet handles allow for precise, water-saving on/off, and temperate control. The AXOR One thermostatic module uses large, clearly marked, and highly responsive paddle handles that offer intuitive control of spray types for shower or bath. Meanwhile, a large thermostat handle provides ultra-precise control of temperature and volume.

Finally, the AXOR One overhead showers and hand-held showers feature monolithic forms and an innovative organization of Rain and PowderRain spray types, reflected in the showerhead’s spray disc. The AXOR One showerpipe is the perfect all-in-one combination of overhead shower, hand-held shower, wall bar, and wall outlet.
