The 19th EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2020.

The nominations for the 19th EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2020 are now open, with the winning representative slated to represent Singapore at the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year (WEOY) awards in Monte Carlo, Monaco in 2021.

Open to both the public and business community, the 2020 nominations will be looking towards the theme “The Unstoppables”.

“The unstoppables are entrepreneurs whose boundless ambitions deliver innovation, growth, employment and prosperity that transform our world,” says Mr. Max Loh, Managing Partner for Singapore and Brunei at Ernst & Young LLP. “It takes a special kind of leader to ignore the critics and transform a blue-sky dream into a reality that contributes value and purpose beyond simple profits. By recognizing and celebrating the achievements of these exceptional entrepreneurs, we hope to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs, given the importance of entrepreneurship to a vibrant economy and the socio-economic spin-offs.”

The successful nominees will be judged across six criteria before being awarded the winning title. The areas are: excellence in entrepreneurial spirit, financial performance, strategic direction, innovation, personal integrity, and positive contribution to national and global impact.
