The unmistakable Meridiani magic makes its way into homes once again with the launch of its latest collection at supersalone 2021

The new collection from Italian luxury furniture brand Meridiani, which was officially launched a few months ago at supersalone 2021, is a celebration of materials and aesthetics. The beautiful interplay of form and function, anchored by solid wood, defines the new collection and is juxtaposed with other materials like saddle leather, fine fabrics, as well as metal and marble.

Comprised of pieces like chairs (EMILIA and TERESA & TERESINA) and low tables (VITTORIO), the collection aims to add a distinct style to any home, resulting in sophistication and personality.

Of the collection, Andrea Paraiso, the brand’s Designer and Art Director, shares, “Nowadays people need to feel more and more that they are welcomed, protected, and pampered in their homes, and in general spaces they live in. That’s why we have decided to propose ‘warm’ materials such as wood, combined with new textile collections in a range of soft shades that almost seem to hug you.”

EDOARDO

Manual skills and a unique tailoring approach best define the EDOARDO bed. Here, a solid wood frame contrasts with the volume of the headboard, which is available in three versions. The first is enveloping and sophisticated, upholstered with a textile covering and outlined by piping; the second is an invitation for relaxation with its soft ruffles; the final version boasts woven saddle leather for a rigorous yet glamorous look.

EMILIA

The EMILIA chair is all about well-balanced proportions, warmth, and comfort with its solid wood structure and rounded shapes. Choose between the contemporary wooden version or the more elegant and refined glossy or matt lacquered versions, which expresses the brand’s eclecticism. As for the seats, choices include an upholstered version with textile or a leather cover, as well as saddle leather for a stylish statement.

VITTORIO

Defined by its circular shape, the VITTORIO coffee table is perfect whether on its own in a corner or placed in a setting, together with armchairs and sofas. The frame is made of solid wood, available in various color finishes like Tobacco, Black, White, or Light. For the top, choices include back-painted glass, marble, or oak. Different materials and an optional under-top make this piece an extremely versatile addition to any living space.

TERESINA

TERESA and TERESINA are skillfully crafted chairs that take shape and structure through the warmth and solidity of oak wood, and is available in two versions. The first one is softer with a padded back with the seat covered in either textile or leather. As for the second version, it features a saddle leather body that defines the back, armrests, and seat. Versatility through materials and colors allows this collection to dress up and complement every living context.
