Sustainability in Furnishing

Marquis HnC goes beyond traditional aesthetics by prioritizing sustainable materials and processes. One of the eco-friendly materials they champion is recycled polypropylene – a durable and recyclable option that minimizes environmental impact by avoiding landfill waste and harmful emissions during disposal. Additionally, they incorporate sustainably sourced wood from certified forests, water-based paints, and eco-friendly fabrics. Through these material choices, Marquis HnC demonstrates that luxury and sustainability can coexist seamlessly in modern design.

In partnership with Minotti, an iconic brand that shares a commitment to sustainable practices, Marquis HnC brings both style and environmental consciousness to its clients. Minotti’s investment in sustainable textiles – such as fabrics crafted from recycled fibers and mass-dyed polyester – illustrates this shared vision. These eco-conscious materials reduce water consumption, CO2 emissions, and electricity usage, aligning with Marquis HnC’s dedication to sustainability.

BOULEVARD 88: A Haven of Luxurious Common Spaces

For the Boulevard 88 residential development in Singapore, Marquis HnC focused on creating luxurious, comfortable common areas that enhance residents’ experience. Working with Axis Architects and the developer, Granmil Holdings, they were tasked with tight timelines, coordinating deliveries, and customizing high-end furniture for shared spaces like the lobby, sky club, and sky lounge.

Marquis HnC supplied exquisite furnishings by Minotti, including sofas and armchairs upholstered in signature Minotti fabrics, carefully chosen to reflect the “Made in Italy” aesthetic and to fit Boulevard 88’s modern luxury vibe. A selection of artwork, sculptures, and custom lighting elements add a unique flair to the space, while durable materials ensure long-lasting beauty and functionality.

By integrating iconic furniture and artisanal touches, Marquis HnC transformed Boulevard 88’s common areas into a sophisticated oasis that residents and guests have come to appreciate.

COSTAMARE BULKERS: Merging Corporate Identity with Maritime Elegance

In Costamare Bulkers’ Singapore office, located in the prestigious Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC), Marquis HnC implemented a design that encapsulates the company’s maritime heritage while maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere. The project required close attention to sustainability guidelines as MBFC is a green-certified building.

Marquis HnC’s design concept for Costamare Bulkers was inspired by the dynamic lines of a ship. Elements like the wave-like feature wall, boat-shaped reception desk, and marine-blue color palette subtly pay homage to the company’s identity. Using sustainable materials and efficient acoustic treatments, they created a space that is both visually engaging and functional for day-to-day operations. The layout, designed to foster productivity, includes  informal meeting pods by the windows, a staff lounge for casual interactions, and a carefully planned work area with adjustable-height desks for ergonomic comfort.

Navigating Challenges and Fostering Client Satisfaction

Each project comes with its unique challenges, and Marquis HnC’s
ability to adapt is a testament to their expertise. For Boulevard 88, coordinating the delivery and installation of exclusive pieces under time constraints and space limitations was a major hurdle. However, careful planning and attention to detail ensured a seamless execution. At Costamare Bulkers, working around tight night schedules and adhering to sustainability standards demanded precision and flexibility. Marquis HnC’s meticulous approach not only met these demands but also left a lasting impact on both projects.

The positive reception from clients and residents alike underscores Marquis HnC’s dedication to delivering exceptional results. Their commitment to quality, sustainability, and a unique brand vision ensures that each project embodies both luxury and responsibility. By combining aesthetic appeal with functional durability, Marquis HnC continues to set new benchmarks in the world of contract furnishing, inviting us all to envision spaces that balance elegance with environmental consciousness.
