With its unique look, the Hamilton Ventura timepiece is the perfect fit for Men In Black’s alien-fighting agents

By fusing a classic and futuristic aesthetic at the same time, the Hamilton Ventura timepiece has earned itself a stellar reputation since it was originally released in 1957. With a cult following that ranges from watch aficionados to some of the world’s biggest celebrities (Elvis Presley was a fan), it comes as no surprise that the Ventura became a hit on the big screen as well, particularly in the sci-fi hit, Men In Black.

However, this is not the first time a watch from the brand has appeared in movies. Hamilton timepieces have been at the heart of cinema since 1932, specially selected to help define characters and advance the plot.

This year saw the release of the film’s latest installment, Men In Black: International, which meant the Ventura once again shared some screen time with celebrities like Chris Hemsworth (Agent H) and Tessa Thompson (Agent M), as well as their iconic black suits and accouterments that include dark sunglasses laser guns, and the neuralyzer.

In the film, Agent M and H are part of the London-based MIB team and they both wear the Hamilton Ventura. While Agent M is new on the scene, she fearlessly opts for a bold choice in the original Ventura, which is characterized by a stainless steel case, black dial, and black leather strap. What’s more, the timepiece boasts nickeled hour, minute, and seconds hands, mineral crystal glass, and water resistance of up to 50 meters.

Meanwhile, Agent H is something of a maverick within the institution, so his Ventura Automatic is the perfect choice. The handsome timepiece is characterized by an open silver dial, nickeled hour and minute hands with Super-Luminova, red seconds hand, sapphire crystal, and a textured brown calf leather strap with a folding clasp. On the inside, the watch boasts an H-10 automatic movement with an 80-hour power reserve, as well as water resistance of up to 50 meters.

As the two agents team up and protect the Earth from the scum of the universe, they do so in style, all while ensuring that Hamilton’s reputation as a trusty and stylish timekeeping instrument is upheld.
