Now, as the world shifts toward a new era of mobility, Ferrari once again finds itself in a position of leadership – not by abandoning its past, but by building upon it. The company is embracing new technologies with the same rigour and performance-driven mindset that have defined it.
Electrification is no longer a vision; it’s part of Ferrari’s present. Hybrids like the SF90 Stradale and 296 GTB have already proven that sustainability and speed are not mutually exclusive. The company’s first fully electric model, set to be revealed this year, promises to carry forward the unmistakable character of a Ferrari – sound, emotion, design – while redefining what electrified performance can feel like.
At the same time, Ferrari is investing heavily in research and development. The ECells Lab, launched in partnership with the University of Bologna and NXP Semiconductors, is focused on advancing lithium cell technology – an essential step toward Ferrari’s electric future. Elsewhere, the company’s commitment to innovation is evident in its use of digital twins, collaborative robotics, and other next-generation systems that optimise performance while elevating craftsmanship.

Toward a More Sustainable Tomorrow
Ferrari’s approach to sustainability goes beyond compliance. It is a considered, strategic evolution rooted in responsibility and innovation. The company is targeting carbon neutrality by 2030, and has already made significant progress: From the permanent shutdown of its trigeneration plant in 2024 to sourcing 100% renewable electricity and drastically reducing methane gas usage at its facilities.
A circular mindset has also taken hold in production, where energy recovery systems and closed-loop processes are becoming standard. In 2024, over 66% of the company’s industrial waste was recycled, which is a tangible sign that performance and environmental awareness can coexist.

The e-building, located on the expanded Maranello campus, brings together the development of internal combustion, hybrid, and electric powertrains under one roof.
