Gone are the days where you required the help of a third party individual to provide you with market information for selling your HDB flat. With Ohmyhome, you can see market prices instantly, post the property for sale, or search for one to purchase, with just a few clicks.
The business came to fruition because in the past, we’ve had friends, colleagues, and relatives come to us and ask for help in either buying or selling HDB flats. They voiced their concerns regarding the tedious processes required and that got us looking at HDB’s transaction process. It was the start of a great idea and we knew that we could make it simpler, or at the very least, more affordable.
Improving lives and simplifying hassles is the core driving force behind Ohmyhome and that’s the direction we’ll keep working towards. In the future, I would like to include more services that are relevant to helping users, such as mortgage, legal services, and even dealing with movers. The success of Ohmyhome comes when people think of HDB transactions and immediately think of us.
Finally, Ohmyhome has been recognized as one of Singapore’s hottest 2017 startups and has earned me a Women Icons Award. That said, I’m definitely proud to have this business in my portfolio.
